Sensor Elements/Dies

Unlike calibrated final packaged products with a certain specification, a sensor element (die) can sometimes be the optimum solution. In some cases, ready-made sensors do not meet the exact requirements of the specific application; the sensor size might not be suitable, the power consumption too high or the measurement range not optimal. In other cases, suitable measurement electronics may already be utilized for other measurements, but you want to integrate more functions into the product.

These needs can be satisfied with Murata's sensor elements (dies), since capacitive sensing elements utilized in Murata's component manufacturing can be purchased also as an element only. This enables customized solutions and optimization according to specific needs. In addition to elements currently produced on a large scale, Murata can offer customized solutions by utilizing existing sensor designs and platforms.
